The Journey
Some of our students are seeking to re-establish themselves in this challenging labor force. Others, are high school graduates who wish to gain a special skill and achieve more than a high school diploma. Furthermore, there are many simply seeking a change in their lives and careers.
HOHA, is the beginning of your journey to a successful career path. In this journey, you will be accompanied by our teachers who ensure that the standard of excellence is met across the wide range of topics you will discover in the Cosmetology field. The programs offered are taught with high distinction and provide students with foundational knowledge at each step of the way. Our programs include written and practical communication skills, confidence building, current skill development and refinement, profitable business and personal marketing techniques, and short/long-term professional development.

The Classroom
HOHA uses an intimate classroom setting to create an environment that promotes abundant inventiveness and productivity. The intimate classroom setting provides a safe environment to practice, develop, experiment with new ideas and collaberate with like minded purpose driven classmates. Furthermore, HOHA is complemented by the HOHA Studio. This unique setting allows you to merge the theoretical learning experience with hands-on demos that employ advanced techniques from renowned stylists. We believe that beyond the practical learning experience, HOHA Studio adds both inspiration and vision to materialize your future and solidify what you are striving for. With our exclusive insight into today’s industry, we will teach you to recognize specific areas to employ your skills and we are dedicated to you achieving success.

Growing up, no one classified me as a "girly-girl." Beauty meant little to me as it was something never highlighted in my family. Once I entered junior high, everything changed. My friends and I became obsessed with fashion magazines. We looked through the pages, becoming fascinated with the cover girls. The way their curls were intricately placed around their faces intrigued me. The accessories used would transfix me to learn how they created such styles.
I began hoarding hair and fashion magazines in my room. I would practice hairstyles on any person that would surrender themselves to my "makeshift salon." I knew what my calling was, and it was hair.
After high school graduation, I applied and was accepted to my dream Cosmetology School. This experience was both informative and fun. My teachers taught the good, bad, and ugly. Every lesson they taught prepared me for the salon experience. Instead of fearing the complex color formulas and hot tools, I began asking my teachers more questions. I sought after valuable tips on how to make these seemingly hard obstacles effortless for my potential clients and myself. Once graduated, I apprenticed for a Senior Stylist in a five-star hair salon. It was the training I received in Cosmetology School that prepared me for the many tasks I performed.
I have found that many of my clients desire the hairstyles worn by celebrities. I've learned not only to replicate the look but enhance my client's confidence. I transform the great styles they show me into a masterpiece that fits their lifestyle. With every service my clients receive, from their first haircut to the consult for their big day, I provide feedback on what we can do to take what they love and create a uniquely personal look.
Everyday I am fortunate to make lasting connections with my clients. When I leave at night, I go home feeling fulfilled as I helped my clients become an enhanced version of themselves.
I have been a stylist for over 10 years. It has been the best decision of my life. This trendy hair industry is everchanging, and I have been fortunate to learn new ways to become a better stylist. The beauty industry has also become one of the fastest-growing industries. Currently, it is estimated to have surpassed 500 billion dollars in annual revenues. This beautiful industry that I am a part of offers the ability to manifest a million-dollar business. Following my dreams, attending my dream Cosmetology School and working with some of the best stylists in the industry, has molded me into the refined hairstylist/colorist I am today.
